TA's 2.5 Team Moves On To Districts

TA's 2.5 team beat Penn Oaks for the second time to go undefeated and will move on to districts as the league champion!! Illyssa, Julie, Anne, Aimee, Patti, Diane, Kendra and Molli congratulations! Special thanks to Cheryl and Tammy who are both injured but have been great support! Btw, the match went down to a third set to break the 2-2 tie and Diane and Patti won 6-1 amid some obnoxious cheering by the the other team's fans! We forgot to take a picture so this will have to do!

Downingtown East Summer Camp

Tennis Addiction's Pro Staff is proud to partner with the Downingtown East Tennis Booster Clubs for both the Boys and Girls teams! More than 40 High School players are attending the camp which includes instruction by the TA Pro Staff, a visit from the strength and conditioning coach of the West Chester Tennis Team, Water Ice and Pizza! Thanks to the boosters!

Addie Lewis whose parents both play at TA and whose mother, Ellen shares the same birthday as Anthony (only much younger) was caught in her SUV today!!

Emily Haverstick Graduates

Emily Haverstick who is an up and coming Junior at TA and whose Mother and Father are accomplished players graduated 5th grade today! Congratulations!!

TA Summer Academy Open House

Over 75 juniors and parents attended the 1st annual Summer Academy Open House! Lasorda's restaurant provided the gourmet pizzas and sandwiches and Denise the Clown did face paintings! The TA Pro Staff gave a free clinic and the juniors "shot for prizes" like t-shirts, overgrips and hats! Look for our feature article in Chester County Life's July/August issue and experience TA firsthand by coming to our Summer Camp which starts tomorrow at 9am and runs 11 weeks. We offer team play plus instruction and we have 2 celebrity pros coming to TA this summer including a player from the Philadelphia Freedoms!!

Under 10 Finals and Party

Tennis Addiction's 10 and under finale and party were a huge success!! Thank you to Cookie who did 99% of the work and Karin, Melei, Jeff, Jared, Crystal and Joe who helped!! We are on our way to having the largest 10-under program in Chester County. We are committed to developing our young players and we thank the parents who support us and the especially the kids who play in our program!
