The Downingtown East Cougar Girls Tennis Team beat North Penn today to advance to the Quarterfinals against Conestoga. Rachel Glikes lost a close match at 1st Singles, Kelley Weaver won an epic match at 2nd Singles 7-5 in the third set, Rachel Simmons won 6-1, 6-0, Cassie Yatcilla and Caroline Hall played their best match of the Season winning 6-2, 7-5, and Sandhya and Haley won 6-4, 6-2!! This marks the first time in Downingtown History that the girls tennis team has won a round at Districts! Onward!!
